If you want to learn a new job you need a certain amount of A-Abilities from the pre-req job(s), this chart shows how many you need to unlock the new one

"Tide-us" sounds neat, vaguely aquatic, which made sense given Blitzball is played in a pool and water is so prevalent in FFX.
"Tee-dus" sounds like the brother-slash-uncle of "Cleetus" and like he should be trying to sell you a used Dodge Dakota.
