Absolutely there is a place for people like that. It is the prescription pick-up line as you get your SSRIs and other anti-anxiety medicines that dope you out until you don't even care how many people you are around anymore.

I am basically what you describe except when necessity overwhelms my innate desire to be alone. I was able to be around others in the Navy because I HAD to. I was able to go to classes with people because I HAD to. I am able to go to work and somehow tell people "No no no, you are not HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE for not knowing that was what "Right-click" means" because I HAVE to.

Prescription drugs played a HUUUUUUGE roll in that. I got on them in the tail end of my navy time, was on them almost all through college, and only in the last couple months tappered off and stopped taking them. Those drugs helped me get started with dealing with my anxiety, which was really the base cause of my "just not liking people".

All that being said, I still much prefer having a day or two now and then were I AM TAKING A BATH UNTIL MY VITA BATTERY DIES DONT NO ONE *** TALK TO ME... but ultimately I have gotten a lot better at sharing space with other humans.

Yet Rx treatment is not always good for every person.

A psychologist can forward a recommendation to a doctor and they can prescribe them, doesn't have to involve a psychiatrist at any point, family doctors can do it.

Absolutely, and not every Rx is the right one.

But man, if you decide to talk to a therapist type about your issues, get ready to have them thrown at you dozens at a time.

Nintendo’s next two smartphone games will be free to download, the company’s partner said on Wednesday, increasing the likelihood that long-loved console game titles will rank high even in fiercely competitive app stores.

Tokyo-based DeNA, which develops and runs its own smartphone games, teamed up with Nintendo, the Kyoto-based videogame powerhouse, last year for the joint project. They released their first title, Miitomo, earlier this year, and are expected to produce four more by March 2017.

Nintendo said last month that the next two titles for devices running Apple’s iOS and Google-parent Alphabet Inc.’s Android software would be rolled out by the coming autumn. They are role-playing franchise Fire Emblem and community simulation Animal Crossing, both long-running popular game series from the company most known for Mario the plumber and the Legend of Zelda.

“Fire Emblem and Animal Crossing are both free-to-start apps,” DeNA Chief Executive Isao Moriyasu told The Wall Street Journal. A Nintendo spokeswoman confirmed Mr. Moriyasu’s comment.

Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima last month declined to make clear how the company plans to earn revenue from the two new titles, and analysts were divided whether Fire Emblem, a game with a vast and dedicated fan base, would adopt free-to-play style.
