Let's see, I can continue to F5 the main page, I can start up Playonline Viewer and update it on dial-up (and then play a game for a while), or I can go to bed.

I could do this and hope my mother doesn't wake up before I do and see the phone line still tied up. :P

It says 9 hours, so it wouldn't be done even if I did that lolz.

And THEN I have to update the game itself, even with the few patches I got off Krizz's site long ago.

Lolz. I feel good about my employment situation next week though, so I will fix it very soon!

But right now, dial-up is free here so I just have to deal, or lug my PC to a wifi place.

I'm not struggling, I just can't do... uh, anything, really. :<

I was raised on dial-up, so I am pretty patient normally. But having had cable internet (and loved it), I think I lost some of that patience. :3

I admit, I would love to not be on dial-up. :/

Dial-up is for old people that can't handle things going too fast.

Plus I wouldn't get yelled at for tying up the phone line.

The tying up the phone line...before we had cell phones it was "what if uncle-billy-joel-bob was dying!? We'd never know!"
I dont understand the point in a home phone unless its a packaged deal with tv/phone/internet these days

Last time I had dial-up was at least six years ago.

I remember it took me a week to download Pulp Fiction, like a 600mb file. T_T

I guess I should mention, this house is basically run by my elderly aunt and uncle. They go on vacation half the year (and live in their motorhome year-round) and we live here almost for free. :P

Just imagine browsing youtube if highspeed internet was never invented.. Holy ***.
