Just a friendly reminder, don't open .pdf's from an unofficial source, your IT guy won't enjoy being part of a day zero virus.
No TV sitcoms really measure up for me these days. I grew up in the golden age of Family Matters, Full House, Roseanne, Home Improvement, Friends, and Everybody Love Raymond.
I think what made them so great was that they were very relatable at times. Especially when there were episodes about the boys trying smoking, or someone losing a job, I think I even remember an arch in Roseanne where they were dealing with her sister having an abusive husband or boyfriend . I can watch Big Bang Theory, chuckle a few times and 'get that reference'. It isn't relatable to me though. I don't watch it and think back to that time me and my 4 scientist friends were hanging out with the cleavage machine that lived across from us, trying to decide if it was morally acceptable to suck up to a member of a board for some thing I already forgot the plotline about because I never really cared to begin with. Tenure, the plot was about tenure. Jassik said: » Just a friendly reminder, don't open BBT gets on my nerves. Married With Children is a good sitcom.
Well they can be, especially if one disables the protection on the application.

The place I just got fired from has had 3 instances of CryptoWall in the last month. The Share drive they have has never been fully cleaned of it, they just have a few folders they ask them to stay out of. I suggested to the IT guy that they put CryptoPrevent on the machines that are still clean and he said that would take too much time. I also dont like big bang theory.
dont like the "comedy" style or characters. a lot of the recent sitcoms are trash. local tv station started airing "2 broke girls". garbage. Big Bang Theory tries to be considered "smart humor" but in reality portrays people to be pretty much clueless in real life situations.
It makes the viewer feel like they are intelligent where they are really becoming more stupid per episode, in my opinion. Bahamut.Rulerofdarkness

I don't mind watching Big Bang Theory, but I have never made it a point to watch it. Same for just about any sitcom really.
Except That 70s Show. Love it. Anna Ruthven said: » Married With Children is a good sitcom. Thankfully, it appears this virus is contained to a single laptop that was off-site at the time, but I'm waiting to get updated definitions so I can be sure. I was on a TSS marathon but I've slowed down as I don't care for the last season. I'm pretty sure Criminal Minds is not a sitcom.
And now I'm imaginging how it would be if it was. Anna Ruthven said: » Big Bang Theory is worse. Yes. Thank you. It's the same laugh-track dependent, dunce entertainment re-packaged for a "niche" market. Here's your cue! Here's your cue! Here's your cue! Only show worth watching in my opinion is The Amazing Race.
Not exactly fake (can't fake reality TV, unless you stick people in one location together for an extended period of time), it's competition, and it's travel. |
