I'd still probably buy them normally since I can't see affordable 3d printing matching the quality of injection molded kits. :<

Would totally print off custom parts though. Would make so many of my ideas so much easier if I didn't have to make the parts by hand. Especially the ones that need curved pieces.
Could finally make that FF8 Ragnarok-style equipment set for my Strike...

Yup. That only comes out to about £13.50. :I

Exchange rate is pretty damn good for buying from Japan right now.
Could afford to buy 3 of the cheaper kits together and still be under the £15 import tax limit for the first time in a while.
Going for the stuff that doesn't get restocked often instead though.

I was wanting to buy one of those new Digivices that were released for Digimon Tri but they were $99.99 US imported straight from the vendors or well over $100 US from scalpers.
