Yeah I keep on doing that after like 5 minutes lol... cause I just can't be *** to try to figure out anything.
I kinda know what I have to do, it's just doing it, I'm broke in game so I can't buy any gear to use till I get something better, I don't have any jobs at 99, and the server is kinda dead so getting any job the 15ish levels to get to 99 is going to be a pain (I hate solo stuff in xi... it's boring)

Sadly, I don't even know if anyone does worm PTs or Doll Aby parties. By now you should have alot of stones to enter abys, but you would probably be keying for other people.

I'll have to think about transferring, I only saw like 2 people on my server that still login (maybe 5 at most...) so it's not like i'd be leaving alot of people.
Wish they could do free transfers, cause I hate to pay for something then not really commit. It would be nice to at least get one job to 99 and gear it up so it's not total *** (I don't care about top tier gear, just at least competent gear)

So after chatting with a support GM for Blizzard for an hour they have come to the conclusion that they need to work on the problem on their end and it could take over 2 weeks to fix it.
