Too many people think owning a pet is as simple as leaving them food and water every now and then :(

Yeah they forget the rest of it; like love, training, more love, exercise, and regular medical care.

I rather they have pets then kids

I volunteered at the humane society here and there were deffinetly a few people that came in that shouldn't be getting pets. They actually reqired people looking to adopt to fill out an application and have a brief interview with one of the adoption counsulers before they were allowed to adopt (they are a no kill shelter so turning people away wasn't getting any animales put down or anything : ) ). And yeh there were quite a few times where they turned people away... they had a couple trick questions, one of the being "Where will the cat/dog be kept?" Most people would get really confused by this and be like, "what do you meen? he will be in my house"... but then there were a few that had "garage" or "bathroom".

Indeed. So many fail to look at the fact that bringing in a pet establishes a relationship or bond between each other, and neglecting that is as detrimental as neglecting basic needs like food or water.

The screening process is a great thing :-) The organization I used to work with did that too.

Yeah, where I am the more "aggressive" the breed the worse the neglect seems to be. I live out in the country so I would foster the ones that could not live or be held in city limits, including pit bulls. You would not believe the condition I would get a lot of the dogs in. I would get them and I would break out into tears. It was completely heartbreaking. My brother and I have a pitbull and he is properly trained and very sweet and loving. He has never bit or attacked anyone, and he is over 9 years old. He will lick you to pieces before anything. It breaks my heart anytime I hear a story about a pit going crazy and getting shot or being put down because of bad behavior. The biggest reason why pits go wild is because owners are irresponsible about handling them. What people don't realize about the pit breed is that 90% of pit behavior is trained or lack thereof. The other 10% is instinct.

Sauce was kinda bland and the cheese melted too fast and the crust was too crispy and I put too much garlic on the crust...

Man good luck on that, I miss them too, but Lilreg makes it too difficult for me to hang with them, he actually tried to tell me that you need accuracy gear over haste the last time I was online and I was close to tearing out my eyeballs to throw at the screen. The worst part is he actually believes the crap he spouts. Anyway, yeh I havn't played in a couple months after Kukiko *** up.
