Yes, this is really his real English dub voice. For reals.

Edit: I'd love to hear a redub with the same VAs though. They've improved a great deal since then.

3. I don't get why she bothered shooting him when he's dropping out of a plane...

2.) Eh idk about that, as a character he wasn't evil, he was just manipulated.
3.) Being thorough...they were flying over a forested area, the off chance he could barely survive by having his fall partially broken by tree limbs. That's assuming he even made it back to civilization.

I didn't say he was evil, just stupid and annoying. That and Lady was a cruel ***.
