Art teachers are ***. Guy teaching us character design in college was giving some people ***for drawing "generic" characters (it was our first lesson actually designing characters) when another guy was drawing a Marvin the Martian recolour and got nothing but praise.

During elementary school, I'd finish all the exam questions in 5 minutes then spend the next 40 minutes drawing my own little manga stories. Most were soccer manga though >_>

A teacher found out once, but I don't think he made any sort of comment.

It's not like we are limbless to be impossible to teach, just need the motivation.

It's still a talent that not everybody has, you don't teach talent, it comes naturally.

Anybody can copy a drawing given enough time doesn't make them talented.

Some people have a talent for learning or picking up concepts rather quickly, but fail to do actually produce the intended results as quickly as they understand the teachings.

I'm one of those people.

But I've been told I would make an excellent teacher, because I'm a quick learner.

Others have a talent for hard work, and a serious lack of talent for anything else.
