You don't need to login steam each time its automatically done for you only need to login once user name and password its an easy game software really to play around with.

thats what i have for my steam not much as of now watching live gameplay as well :P
btw i may of missed most the convo but you dont need steam for alot of games that people play them through. like x|v, you can DL the client easy just need a code for ya account, wich by that point ya might as well just buy the PC version anyways. but like i said steam isnt required for it, only if you buy it through steam
