Steam restricted my account due to suspicions my account had been hacked. Nothing was messed with and I did everything they asked me to. 8 days later I'm still restricted and I haven't heard anything back from them. The ***, Steam?

With the XI thing going on... I can only hope they are going to drop sub prices, bundle it with XIV, or just drop the sub entirely.

No console, only PC playerbase... yeah...(granted a potato could play xi ... but whatever)

Heh, to be frank, Vana'diel is and always has been my home away from home. That's a given considering FFXI was my first MMO, and was something I played before the general concept behind the genre defined itself more clearly. Nevertheless, it's been a part of my life for well over a decade. For better or worse, it's been a chapter in my book that I'm sad to see inevitably come to a close.

Sure, there's been rough patches where the damned thing siphoned my livelihood in real life, but for all the sights I saw, the people I've met and lost, the shoes I've stepped in, and all the tragedy and triumph I've endured, I wouldn't trade it for the world. Vana'diel is a vast, diverse, and beautiful world that still stands as a beacon in my heart. Even when the plugs are inevitably pulled, it will be a place that lives on with me, and I hope there are at least some out there that feel the same.

Yeah, the BBB in of itself is pretty shitty as it's pretty much a "Pay for A" system, but there's definitely a clear painted picture here to justify such a mark. Valve's customer service is utterly atrocious, and I hope it works to improve instead of relying on public outcry on reddit and twitter.

I joined a friends social linkshell on XI today.

I haven't been in a linkshell in a very long time, and have mostly kept to myself since the seraph/bismark merge aside from about 8 people I regularly talk too.

I see the green text of people talking to each other.

I participated in some conversations.

Everyone seems to be having a good time talking to each other and doing whatever they are doing.
