Ok I wasn't too sure about NIN at first, but even at i97... it's just ... damn.
Seeing those 1k dmg popups makes me all warm and fuzzy lol, I don't even think I could do that on my MNK as it is geared right now. Offline

As long as mnk doesn't break it's Greased Lightning III cycle, it will attack faster than ninja with Huton up. That said, the highest criticals I get on ninja is around 800-900 tops, while ninja has gotten around 1600. Let's see how bad I can screw up at Garuda EX.
I play 14 once every *** and even I could beat that one. Come on man.

GD just reactivted and got the POL12321 message. Reinstall time..
I'm actually surprised that I didn't screw that attempt up. The WAR had no idea what they were doing. >.>

I play FFIV because I explicitly don't know what I'm doing.

Got DRG to 50 the other day and am ilvl 100 on it. Can get 1700-1900 crits on it with full thrust, but nin attacks so much faster.

Dragoon also attacks much slower than ninja or monk, so it has to make up the DPS difference with higher attacks (my DRG is 109 and has a much higher attack potency than both my monk and ninja)

Leveling WAR atm, and god I wish nin's would use goad more often. 70% of the time I have to ask for it, and even then, 50% of the time they still don't do it.

Long boss fights (like 5-Headed Dragon) definitely. I certainly play enough of all of my jobs to know what's needed, and how to play them all more effectively than some of the people I've seen. That's a goad one Ruler, hahahahah

I usually have chains of 3 back to back or more.. Usually pull around 5-7 at a time. If I'm not making my healer drop to half mp/spam cures then I'm pulling more. Unless of course, the dps suck or have ***for aoe. Offline

I rarely see monks dropping their AoE combos, and the ones I do see, hit for complete ***.
I love using Rock Breaker when the tank lines ***up just right - lots of critical hits and I pop Blood for Blood ontop of it. On ninja, I know it's often faster to use singular attacks when the crit hits are landing for 1400+ and quite often, but if I have my Katon or Doton ready, and time left to spare before recasting Huton, i'll use those too. Rockbreaker is really nice, if tank is doing big pulls I'll use perfect balance and spam it. But the only time I used arm of the destroyer was back when my group was missing a bard for t1, just use mnk to silence all of ADS' crap.
