Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Can't find any archives of the story but I washed my thrift store controller thoroughly before use.
I recently found out that there are several DS cards used for Pokemon distribution events on eBay. I wonder if they still work. Bed, Bath, & Beyond sells Atari systems now. Not sure if they have games integrated or they play cartridges. I know there are systems that play both NES and Genesis cartridges.
I never played Knuckles Chaotix. Anna Ruthven said: » I never played Knuckles Chaotix. You will need a complete 32X mushroom to play that game on the real thing. And they're flimsy enough to make them rare and expensive to get in working condition nowadays. >_< http://www.amazon.com/Atari-AtGames-Flashback-Game-Console-Electronic/dp/B00K2CS9FE
Built in, yeah. I saw BB&B had then here about two weeks ago for like $20. EDIT: http://www.amazon.com/Hyperkin-Retron-System-GENESIS-Nintendo-Entertainment/dp/B003O3EFY2 Here's the combo I was talking about. EDIT2: Looking at it again, looks like you can use original controllers. That system looks pretty nice. I can imagine playing my old Toejam & Earl, Legend of Zelda, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc again. I know there are systems that play both NES and Genesis cartridges. I never played Knuckles Chaotix. Walmart around christmas had those systems for about $18. It was the Sega Genesis that plays carts, but also had 50 built in games. They also was selling the colecovision but even though the controllers looked like the original and had the sleeves, you could plug the real controllers into the port and the controllers that came with it felt cheap, think that had 60 games. Well when I went back to find them to see if they went on clearance, they were priced at $35 or something. Oh well... That's still freaking cheap for 50 old games, that's at least one dollar every 2 games (Give or take) and that's not even counting the console and the controller that came with it. Schizm Gallantry said: » Here's that christmas consoles I was talking about.. Note the price tags.. ![]() Those are usually emulators using cheap SoC (System on a Chip) designs. Stuff similar to the Rapsberry PI, for example. They can be produced cheaply on large volumes because these chips are usually developed for simple "smartphone like" or "cheap android tablet" devices. Schizm Gallantry said: » You have to remember though, these systems are chipped systems that just play roms. The only reason people like them is people they look like the original system, but they tend to be smaller and cheaply made. The funny part of those is when people hack the NES/N64 ones so they will play any N64 rom, but most people that do that just do it to see if they can. There were one which was meant to play Atari or C64 games. Turns out it was a NES on a Chip "NoaC" design and the games in it were ported for the NES. So it could be indeed modded to play NES ROMs. The ROMs in it were extracted and made playable on a real NES, too. Schiz, what do you think about the second system I linked?

BB&B also had these by the Atari clones. ![]() BTW, is it just me or is Knuckles' shoes bolted on? Reading about those distribution Pokemon cartridges, apparently they do still work but only if you set your DS to the dates and times that each Pokemon was available.
So just did the New Jhenny. Kinda sad they got rid of the old Jhenny though cause now I can't be like, "Oh Jhenny." with that Gump accent since its name is Dah'ren.
