I've never had a stylist derp that hard and cut my hair super short when I asked for just a trim. Then again I go to higher end places where they kinda kiss your *** and make you a Cappuccino while you get your hair done.

I don't think that ever happens to women. We go to the hairdresser, pay a *** of money and come out with hair that looks the same as before, just with edges and stuff adjusted.

the long hair wash+conditioning and scalp massage is like the best part of going to the stylist, super relaxing.
I'd pay them to do that for 5-10 more minutes if I wasn't embarrassed to ask.

My barber used to love working with my hair. She once asked if I used any special products at home because she was jealous of the sheen, shine, and how healthy it was.
So she'd play with my hair for 5 extra minutes.
I try to get a haircut once every two weeks.
It usually turns out once every two months :/

I used to have someone I used to go to, to get my hair cut, but I went there and she was gone. so asked a girl there to cut my hair and told her how I wanted and how the lady would usually do it and she got pissed.
mediocre haircut too.
never went there again.

so I was sort of letting my hair grow during this winter, and it was getting rather uneven and difficult to manage, so got a haircut.
told the girl 1 to 2 in cut all around is fine.
walked out with a generic short hair cut :|
didnt look bad but... not what I asked for.
and not like I can tell these people "put it all back".

Going to the hairstylist is so much different for men and women. Men walk in, get the job done and walk out.
Women walk in, stay in this parlor for an entire day gossiping and taking forever each. Maybe I'd enjoy it too if I actually talked to people, instead I just go at weird times when I know it's deserted.
