Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

One of the worst feels I have to this day has to do with a cat I had as a kid. My mom got a kitten for me and one for my sister. Mine was a black cat, male, named Tazz. As he got older he started spraying a lot and my mom decided he was going to be an outdoor cat (we had a little shed with food etc). I wanted to get him fixed so he could come inside and I was saving my little babby allowance up for that. He went missing for a couple of weeks and I thought he had been hit by a car. When he did show back up he was really sick. He had snotty eyes, his nose was running super bad, his ears were torn up. The worst thing, and it will always stick with me, was that he was limping, and when I picked him up for the last time I saw that his paws had been split open, and they were infected and he had maggots crawling around in one of them.

I cried and cried and begged my mom to take him to the vet. I told he I would sell all my video games to pay for it. She would not budge though, gave me the whole "he was YOUR responsibility" speech.

When I went back outside he was gone. I don't know where he went and I never saw him again.
