Been playing FFX and there's a few things I keep in mind when playing:
1)I cycle every character in a battle to get points for sphere grid, even if it's Yuna for a melee hit or Rikku to steal an item.
2)I try to atleast see if I can get one sphere within three battle fights for any character. If I don't, then I move onto the next area.
So far, after playing the game a few times through, it's been a good feat of measuring where I am in the game. But... when I read a guide for a Seymour fight, it said Lulu should already have "Double Cast" and that's way off the grid. I even checked if I messed up somewhere but really you can't go off the US released grid..

He's a tank. Skarmory's typing is pretty *** strong and afaik no other pokemon shares it yet; only weak to 2 types (Fire + Electric). Resistant to almost everything else. Just wish it was shiny, but can't have everything :(
If it's the corridor I'm thinking of, I'm pretty sure that's one of the best places to "level up" in the game, I'd abuse the hell out of it if I were you.
I know there's a level 4 key sphere in "Home" but I can't think of a level 3 anywhere yet.

See, I'm probably going to save my game at some point, take it to my friend's house on a USB and have him beat the two things I don't want to do.
I just am at the point to not want to stress about it, that reminds me: I need to get him to do something on Zelda: ALBW for me too.

basically breeding some pokes randomly cause they look cool.
best i got so far is a 5/6 which im giving to my friend (no sp atk)
going for a Sheer Force / Life Orb combo with HP/Atk ev's
not sure I have a decent team comp with them mixed lol

At least you got a positive feeling about it now. :) That's a solid progression from the "I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-doing-doggy-meme" feeling you had earlier on. ^^
