Nothing on XIV interests me atm and apparently my controller doesn't charge with the PS4 off.. I don't know why I expected it to.

Well you know the history on the PS3. It's likely SONY might consider removing the backup utility from the PS3 firmware, now.

I just want another exploit to run homebrew, so I can utilize the software emulator on my non-60gb models. I guess I should get around to getting at least one of those working.

Well you know the history on the PS3. It's likely SONY might consider removing the backup utility from the PS3 firmware, now.

So say person 1 has a CFW console from the firmware versions that were able to do it, and loaded vfirmware to the newer versions as of right now, would he be able to backup to mass storage and I be able to exploit that on mine?

(Assuming there's a way for him to just grab the stuff that's on PSN anyway, I know there's a way for a lot of the 360 stuff if one has a cfw enabled console).

I need to read up on this. Tired of rebuying older games I already have, but I'd like to put a lot of these in storage, etc.

I guess I could play them on the PSP but "meh."

Fair enough.

I'm more interested in the cfw though, as it enables such things as the software PS2 emulator on newer consoles (if I understand right, still a bit buggy).

Saves me from having to dig out a working PS2.

I like being able to play the games I already have on other consoles, as I keep playing the same old games over and over.

It's funny as I have a lot of pirated games, and still play most of what I own.

That reminds me, I've been itching to replay FF8 again.

So I found out today that "bae" is a word. I thought people kept trying to spell "babe" and messing it up. O.o
