Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

So, lately a few things have just kinda clicked for me, first of let me explain.

I have anxiety issues, I am a very nervous person and I can't take repetitive, shrill, or loud noises, they send me into a nervous fit which ends in rage and depression. Life here is very stressful for me.

One thing kinda helped me on April 15th, my niece brought an abandoned black lab puppy which I took in, she was my baby. I provided food for her, bought her toys, played with her, was in the process of potty training her, taught her not to bark in the house, and when she had accidents, cleaned up after her. Despite loving my sleep, I would get up in the middle of the night to take her outside, I lost a lot of sleep taking care of her but it didn't matter, I was like her parent and that's what parents do for their babies; they lose sleep. She died July 5th from Parvo.

A few weeks ago, the oldest Yorkie passed away from a combination of a form of cancer and old age. She was a very quiet dog all her life which led me to notice something...

Now we are left with the three barkers; my mom's one and my sister's two. Call me jealous or bitter or whatever but it's not fair. My mom seems to think that owning a dog requires doing two things; possessing a dog and feeding it. These dogs were never taught not to bark in the house and only my sister's two will go outside occasionally to potty.

So, what exactly did the death of our oldest dog lead me to notice? My mom and sister shouldn't have dogs. We got the oldest as a breeding partner for my mom's previous dog, the father of current these three, we had to get rid of him because he was a biter...never taught not to. She was about a year to two years old when we got her and was thus taught by someone else. My mom and sister are just terrible dog owners that put no effort into their pets. I don't really hate the dogs, though I say I do regularly, I hate the way they haven't been taught.

As an added, funny, detail. At Christmas dinner, my grandma told my mom that her little dog is ugly. That made me laugh.

Last Tuesday, my brother and I were working a long day, rushing to get a job set up and poured before Christmas (which we did, $$!!) when we got home we found out that my mom had already gotten and gotten rid of a Chihuahua puppy. Apparently my dad did not react well to it so she gave it to a neighbor. Where it went from there, we don't know but that's sad, passing a dog around like that.

I thought they were kidding till I asked my dad if my mom REALLY went and bought another dog. Apparently no one knows where it came from or why she got it.
