I want to get the game, and get these, but due to my limited budget I really can't at the moment (saving for new york trip, paying off credit cards etc etc...)

There are mixed reports on the whole amiibo thing. And no official source except a tweet saying they won't be discontinued.
As for wave 2 , only interested in Zelda and maybe capt falcon.
