On another note, since the Naruto manga is over, anyone want to take bets on how long Bleach and OP are going to go for?
I'm betting Bleach won't hit 700, and OP will probably hit beyond 1200, (they're at 605 and 767 respectively iirc).

I drove to Richmond and back the other day, I was booking it for most of the way there, made some pretty good time, definitely not bad considering I shaved like 20 minutes off my time.

Yeah... I haven't been paying full attention when I read it (plus I took a few week break) I've lost track of how many are dead now.

I only ever go that fast on the interstate (hard to explain really, but if I read correctly the US highway system was modeled somewhat on the Autobahn (sp), if that gives you an idea.)
The most I've ever hit on a back road is 100, and that's just because I know the road well, and it's a straight stretch in a little valley and I can see everything, there's no "jumping out."
There's a straight sections of road on my way to work that I'll push myself over 100 on assuming no one is particularly close to me.

That Google job is done through a GPS contractor. There's been people I worked with that got a chance but it's not full time work. You'll get contracted but released once done.
Contract work sucks, unless it's just supplemental income to the household, relying on it for primary income it's just too uncertain when your next job will be and for how long, etc.
I wish they would build more high speed rail systems, one diagonally across VA right towards near DC would be lovely.

Well, when you have 85% of a server using a language that you don't understand and refuses to use the auto translate, I don't think that it's me that has a problem with the "cultural barriers".....I think that it's the people that are not using auto translate.
Or, maybe, hey - wild and crazy idea - how about we have servers set up by regions? They do it with other MMO games - why not FFXI?

Those MMOs haven't been around for as long and they likely have a lot more players and they do it from the beginning.
It's not like SE is gonna spend a ton of money on changing server related things in a 10+ year old game.

Nope, right thread from a couple pages ago. Obviously Jet is someone that is firmly against change of any type. Forgive me if Japanese is not my 1st, 2nd or 3rd language and I've just stated a random thought a to somethimg I've heard MANY English speaking players express on my server and other servers. I'll shut up now since voicing anyng that might make FFXI more user friendly for English speaking players is frowned upon
