Wouldn't go as far as specifying cast iron, but yeah.. Skillet or get it away from me.. I understand why they wouldn't in a restaurant, especially if they use it a lot (just working at Sonic was bad enough, it all got cooked in the morning, if I had to specially cook it every time someone ordered it, I'd of went nuts) but it's just not the same unless it's cooked in a skillet.

I guess im spoiled because my family is from the south and I grew up on cooking from cast iron skillets. I love the flavor of meats cooked in them. Bacon, well any meats in general, taste sooooo good when it's cooked in a cast iron skillet.

Skillets generally don't add anything that I care about. Either way is fine, and the microwave is faster.
