Motorola phones have been notoriously ***though, had the Photon Q 4g LTE or w/e and the screen stopped working. Went to a samsung for awhile but eventually bought another Photon Q 4g lte (ebay) and it's been mostly ok since, still gives some errors.

The samsung one was great but it was prepaid and well I figured I have a sprint account, I may as well make use of it.

I've seriously considered going to a nexus 5 as it has a lot of the options I like and it isn't as locked down but unless I found a keyboard that I can easily keep with it it's just not going to happen anytime soon.

Also: I have yet to see a blackberry that didn't look straight HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE or that was up to date, so no thanks.

edit: on a side note, I wonder if the windows phones can sync to AD and everything, as that'd be some bitchin' *** GP to set.

Been extremely pleased with my Nexus 5 as far as phones go.

As far as fancy watches, it feels awkward being like "That's expensive just for texts on your wrist!" I mean I spent $300 on my watch and it is just a watch... It has month/day/date display and time, not even digital so I actually have to read the time even!

But it is an eco-drive and well built so I fully expect it to live 20+ years while the fancy watch/phone/thingie will be outdated in a year and probably be dead within 5.

My Droid was fine until the end of the contract when the keyboard started to go, but I'm a pretty heavy texter.

My Droid Razr Maxx was similarly good until a few months after the contract, it's gotten stupid slow since. But again, I got my full two years out of it before it started to go downhill, so I can't complain too much.

My biggest problem is just upgrading because I refuse to change to a tiered data plan. So I'll be shelling out full price for a phone at some point.

Pretty sure I've discussed this before, though, so no use beating a dead horse.

Key part there. A good watch properly taken care of can outlive you.

How I ended up with a Nexus and the only reason I still have T-Mobile. I've had unlimited data for like the past 5 years, why do I magically need to start paying more to get less GB than I use monthly?

Money grubbing ***, getting worse than internet providers.

The *** of it is that I actually am in that 3% or whatever they say that uses more than 2GB a month. I don't know how people don't use that much, but...

And I looked at my Comcast data usage the other day. Holy *** am I boned if Comcast ever forces me onto data on a tiered usage.

I feel the same. I could easily burn more than 2GB on my phone in a day if I was out somewhere with no wifi and streaming Twitch or something.

Edit: My internet went out for 1 day last Thursday and I went over 1GB that night alone on my phone.

Streaming music is necessary for my sanity nearly 12 hours a day.

Edit: Also, that's how I feel whenever people start talking about Gundams. :p

Aside from that some of them are the internet providers, in fact most of the ones around here are, it's more of the other way around.

Sprint would be "okay" around here where I am (Westmoreland County). But I'm from the northern part of the state and any time I go home or up to the Erie area, I'd be *** with a capital:

The only thing with even semi-reliable coverage up in McKean County is Verizon. End of discussion. It's really annoying, but it's true.

See that white spot in northern central Pennsylvania?

Guess where this Pennsyltuckian grew up.

How come Iowa, a relatively unimportant state in the grand scheme of things, has nearly full coverage (I spy a white dot), and yet, many areas in Texas, California, and New York are not covered....

I can tell you why those areas of Texas/California/NY aren't covered*, but not why Io-the-***-wa is.

*Population density. For instance, that area of eastern California is high Sierra Desert and has <1 person per square mile pop density.

Well they can't account for population when half of the population isn't reported because they're inbred hillbillies...*

Yeah, I mean it's true but damn.

But they apparently won't let more towers up near Sugargrove, even though they have towers on the base they're not allowed for public use.

I'm going to assume they just encrypt the signals, or run on a different band, or both.

Granted the inbreeding does account for the rest of the state.

That being said: there's a town in VA that's like people were fleeing WV and hit the 2nd mountain and said "*** it, we're staying" as they're a bunch of inbred hillbillys too.
