About to hit 50 on Paladin in FFXIV. (My first 50) Don't really know what to do once I do though.

What should I start focusing on? Gear/event wise. Or even if I need to get some skills or something from other classes.

Have just over 200k gil to my name and haven't really figured out how to make money or anything. All anyone so far has told me, is it gets easier to make money once I hit 50. But no one has said how.

I would just start spamming things that give you myth and gear up in some i90 gear while also doing coil (so easy now). Get a relic first though, that's also very easy now with experienced people doing trial roulette. Unlock Labyrinth of the Ancients and then do some Syrcus Tower for a weekly tank i100 drop. If your server does hunts you could do that for a shitload of myth and very easy soldiery. It also gives allied seals and mark logs which are used to upgrade soldiery items from i100 to i110.

It's easy to make money if you have a craft, spiritbond and get lucky or have a garden. Otherwise it's not so easy.

As for skills on Paladin, all you really need is Stoneskin. Bloodbath is nice to have but it's pretty damn useless since it doesn't give much HP back. Mercy Stroke can be nice if you get the last hit on something but you almost never do.
