lol @ romance options for Leafa and Silica tho I'm actually more offended by the "Official English Translation" for the game than by the pseudo-dating simulation it really is.
english version of the game seems more like a "yeah whatever just get the interns to do it and put it on PSN" rather than an actual effort to make an english version

Why the hell do I never hit on anyone on here, seriously. I never do. I'm also wondering why the *** I haven't killed that bottle of Jim Beam I bought a while ago, and why I'm waiting so long to touch all those Millers chillin' in my fridge. Oh, and why is my goddamned humidor completely empty? So Sims 4 bombed, what a surprise. Reviews say that they restricted character creation options, every character basically looks the same, restricted design options, restricted etc. It's a complete setup to fill in the blanks with DLC, which they have always done in a way but from what people are saying it's a very blank slate game with almost no content, and you're basically expected to buy something on top of the original game to make it interesting at all.
Oh well. Completely and totally expected, especially after Sim City. Glad I didn't give into impulse and preorder, EA being attached to a game is often enough to break my addiction to buying games these days.

I don't mean to? =/ Generally I just blurt my random thoughts... which tend to be about me and don't spark a lot of open conversation. Guess I just don't realize when I say sex related things it could be taken as a come on some times. It's an art; a social game to make people smile. The intellectual version of a basketball 1 on 1. Plus it can boost moral at work or relax tense situations with enough tact and mastering gentle flirting can help the non-social individuals that desire more socializing. Eh... dating sims never really got my boat to float.
Honestly I haven't bumped into a game in a long time that has gotten me excited for it. Every time I get my hopes up they tend to get just utterly smashed. X-Com was okay (last game I pre-ordered), but wasn't very satisfying. I think Banished is the only thing I have bought recently that enjoy... then proceeded to attempt all the challenges and be like "Now what?" I dunno... I really can't think of a game since FFXI or before that I genuinely looked forward to playing when I got home from work/school/whatever. Something broke when I started to try and grow up I think. I don't buy EA games out of spite. Fenrir.Weakness said: » Eh... dating sims never really got my boat to float. Honestly I haven't bumped into a game in a long time that has gotten me excited for it. I just end up buying the games I want... mainly cause i'm too lazy to torrent then :/
anything that can be torrented I torrent first then buy later. stuff like Destiny and Borderlands TPS I'll have to buy straight out though ): stupid multiplayer
My M8's controller came today, os gonna be emulating lots of games that I've wanted to replay until those come out. One M8 + this thing = instant classic games VC. Can play all the way up to PSP/PS1/N64 with little stuttering. Not so much that I hate games but more I need the "social interaction" and quite possibly the mindless grind/goal reaching to keep myself occupied. That makes sense. I mean the only reason I come to this site is for the social aspect. The other forum (head-fi) and social-ish website (MFC) I attend, I basically only lurk. Takes something special to get me to talk to other people to be honest, and I have no idea why that happens in RT. I get trolled into the P&R threads sometimes too though. |
