When I was in high school (though it's kind of moot now) I surprised my English teachers with a natural ability to read far, far above the standard level, while understanding the content quite easily.
When it came time to do final tests, I was writing what essentially amounted to an essay while others were barely scribbling the first sentence.
That's how bored I was doing tests. Most of the time, we could choose our own topic to write about, just as long as we had the proper sentence structure, grammar, and spelling, among the other writing tools we learned to use.

Canada uses "Color" and Colour" interchangeably, otherwise we'd be Americans, saying "FU! We make our own ***up"
