Got my snow white chocobo finally. Well, finally got the fruit to do it.
Went on the safe side and used 15 Plum, 15 Valfruit, and 10 Pineapple. I liked Dark Souls on the whole, but I hated the whole aimlessness and having piece everything together story. Was Dark Souls II any better about that or more of the same?
The just kinda plopping you into the world and "you'll figure it out eventually" story kind of turned me off of the game, and if DS II is just a repeat I think I'm going to skip it. Dark Souls 2 had a story? Asura.Ackeronll said: » Fenrir.Weakness said: » I liked Dark Souls on the whole, but I hated the whole aimlessness and having piece everything together story. Dark Souls 2 had a story? Was basically how I felt about the first one after my first play through. But I also missed quite a bit on that first play when it first came out, and did a more thorough play through on steam's PtDE. I honestly enjoyed reading other people's piecing together/interpretations of the story than the convoluted dialog in the game. Souls games aren't about direct narrative, they're about piecing together parts of the world yourself and finding all the hidden tidbits and loreybits and...
yeah. basically if you don't like having to piece together a story and the world around you without the right answer being thrown in your face even if you "get it wrong", probably not the type of narrative you're looking for. things like looking at item descriptions for pieces of lore and connecting that with NPC dialogues to form a bigger picture. Tfw have to work all day...here we go! :c
me too ): let's go be miserable woofs together
why cant money just appear in my bank. enough to at least buy some chocolate dipped bananas
right?
The crowns DLC does a lot to fill in the blanks.
DS2 spoilers inside! EDIT: Holy typing issues batman! Guess I'm just looking for the same game play style that is just a little more story driven. Give a player too much story and they know exactly where to go thus making the game easier. It could also result in the feel the game is pushing you along a straight line. If some one did manage to find the sweet spot for this that game would be amazing. Maybe even X-Com amazing. Fell off my bed ._. I rolled over and..the void. I hurt my right arm *weeps*
Started playing Tomb Raider again. Got it in the summer sale, played like an hour and then never touched it after that... totally figured out why I stopped playing. Shakey cam makes me feel like I'm gonna puke faster than most FPS games do.
Exploring for hours on Skyrim? No Problem. Spending 5 minutes looking for boxes to break with Lara? About to puke. I really want to play Bravely Default... <.<; worth getting a 3DS for?

Longer Answer: Wait till next year for the new 3DS and Bravely Default 2. Longest Answer: You might not like a section of the game and it may kill your enthusiasm to play it.Other then this one aspect the game is amazing. If you still want to brave the storm and take that shot, wait till next year for the new 3DS and Bravely Default 2. Absolutely loved the game up to that point and I was excited about it but I got caught up doing big pharma and then grinding all jobs to cap and just forgot about the game :( I bought a 3ds pretty much only to play BD and it was well worth it.
