So, I got bored on 14 because too much grind, not enough friends online when I'm online. I mean, I'll probably log right back in tomorrow all fine and dandy, but one of my friends got Dark Souls because I made him play it when we were at a friend's BBQ. He's addicted now.

So I went to replay. I had intended to do something I'd never done, and sequence break the Catacombs from the start without skipping monsters by use of the Astora's Straight Sword.

Instead I got the Astora's Straight Sword and went straight down to Quelaag and killed her at 20 damage a swing with the help of Mildred who was doing a whopping 48-60 damage a swing and was trapped behind Lava for like half the fight due to her poor AI.

Currently reverse ways fighting my way up Blighttown for items, still with just the Astora's Straight Sword >.> it's all I have, and I don't have anything to repair.

Well, I was like level 9 when I killed Quelaag. I started as Deprived and wanted the minimum stats to wield the Astora's Straight Sword. Right now, I'm somehow level 28, but I've only been specing into Vitality, Endurance, Faith, and Intelligence.

Levels up basically just come from what I kill as I do this. Also got Eingyi's Pyromancy Flame. Toying with the idea of just farming the leeches for Titanites and souls and upgrading my Flame to +10 to meet Quelana without ever having met Laurentius.

Went down to Ash Lake. Saw the Hydra down there jump over the beach to the other side. He also chased me as far as the entry path to the last Everlasting. Never seen that ***in my game before lol, because I am usually overgeared and kill the ***out of the Hydra at the start.

Something else I've never done that has me laughing... Poison Misted Havel through the door. Only took two of the Mist uses, and he was down for the count. Easiest Havel kill ever.
