Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

I get the emails, but I don't remember now the pre season and post season prices. The payment plan just ended, as the season is half over. I could get it if I could get some $, trouble is I'm really broke and my CC's are maxed out. You in VA? Which part of VA? DC area? Richmond? I think I'll go to the bank tomorrow and see about my financial issues, and the viability of continuing my education with my current funds/debt.
If I continue the "no job" thing, I'm going to at least try to hock some of my stuff and get out my arduino and give it a whirl. spammed frontlines all weekend. Now queue times are terrible. I'm sad I cant spam it!

But not enough workers have been doing it. During and after the recession, the U.S. economy has been too weak for many workers to undertake the sort of job-hopping that economists say is critical to building careers and advancing the nation's long-run growth prospects. The consequence: Even many Americans who have remained employed have stunted their earnings growth by staying pinned down to their current jobs. I'm cross trained in IT support and electronics, although my PC support skills far surpass my electronics ones.
I have an AAS degree, and need a decent amount of credits to transfer to ODU like I plan to still, but also am piling on the debt. I had a decent job but the contract expired in April, and the area is kind of crap for IT work, yet I don't want to move too far, due to my daughter (and cost of living, etc.) So, yeah, in a bit of a rut. To be fair, I picked up a gig with support.com for a bit, but it was so mind numbingly boring I quit before the training was over. It was ***pay anyway. Jetackuu said: » Virginia. Eeewwwwwwwwwyyyyyaaaaay? lol, the view is nice, and around here there's not too dangerous natural events.

Like the article says, I just quit my job one day cause I had enough of drudgery of never advancing my career. Sold my car, sold a lot of useless possessions, and got better jobs overseas with the benefits of being educated outside the western sphere of ignorance. Try taking a job South Korea for example teaching English, or basic computer skills. These options may not be for everyone though. That's all the debt I really have, it's not that bad, just bad when you can't make payments.
I have 1 job within an hour I'm qualified for, and it's just taking time to land an interview. I'm fairly sure I'll get it, just a matter of time. I'd like to get into a junior admin position within 3 years though. Coal mining... Landslides and sinkholes..... Virginia has a Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy.... I need to see if Illinois does. just meant the lack of common tornadoes/hurricanes, few earthquakes, and far enough from DC. meh, do what you enjoy I say
