The kids behaved generically for the most part. Not any more ignorant or spoiled or rude than any other generation. Kids are just dumb in general.
My nephew is 9, and he's spoiled as hell.
My daughter is going to have to build her computer before she can have one, and I'll make her fix the damn thing too.
Did all of that in middle school, and more. I believe 5th is now part of that (which is where I was at 10) so I guess that qualifies now too.
Yeah, I didn't get into computers at that level until my teens, and you got a few years on me.
I always thought I would have done well about 10 years sooner, then again I'm about the only one I associate with that knows what an ISA slot is, or how to set dip switches.

Just got level cap to 95. Not much else, just trying to get to 99 so I can solo Dynamis like a boss. Just got Jeuno win today with a few people.
Current savings towards my Mandau:
4 x 100 bynes for stage 2
18 x O. Bronzepieces for stage 3 (lol)
2 x Lungos & one T. whiteshell for stage 4
A hope and a prayer for stage 5

I do kind of want to get some M$ certs and my cisco ones though, enough to get into a junior admin role (I could get them easily if I studied the material more, my biggest hindrance is M$ group policy, as I only grasp the concept.
The rest I could brush up on and probably take, I understood the router stuff well enough.

Aww yeah. Took down a few B and A rank elite marks, finished my Wyrm set, and beat Hydra, Ifrit and Garuda for my Gae Bolg. Productive night. :I

^ This was amazing when I was a kid. I remember this toy quite well. I would put my head into the back and just run full speed. Whatever I hit was fun as hell. I hit and all time high when I run into the side of a parked vehicle. My mother told me she saw me run full blast into the car and the tonka truck came out the other side. Was fun!
I mean if I felt like staying at my desk, I could get my kicks for a bit by playing on the private server, but I don't have it loaded on my laptop, and it's pretty buggy.

My ex-roomate did that a few years back, had to replace the damn thing, then he "found it" when we were moving out.

You can still play, you'd just have to go through the trouble of deactivating it.
Which reminds me, when I do have the $ to play, I need to spend an hour or two with a GM on the support chat.

edit: and you can still add a character to the same SE account after, and it will still add the satchel, even when it's deactivated, go figure.
