Funniest part is they kept delaying it because of weather reports, as in won't work in the rain. It's been doing nothing but raining today since about an hour after they started. Although it's died down to sprinkles now.

Finally after a few decades, the brain trusts in Hollywood have decided to make a movie based on one of the best selling novels of it's time: The Giver.
It's a movie I've been waiting to see, though I have a feeling the book will still be 100x better than the movie could ever effectively project the subject matter contained.

I've noticed through my wayward journey through the anime and cosplay concepts of comic conventions, that my city doesn't really have much of a cosplay culture, even during the comicons that come to town.
So I was thinking of making a Cosplay Society concept, which could potentially take off, as there is a lot of interest in it, just not a socially acceptable place to do it, except at the conventions. However, most people take public transport, and can not afford to wreck their creations that they have spent weeks, months, or even a whole year and several paychecks on, let alone the judgmental stares that come from a conservative city.
So I was thinking of making a Cosplay Society concept, which could potentially take off, as there is a lot of interest in it, just not a socially acceptable place to do it, except at the conventions. However, most people take public transport, and can not afford to wreck their creations that they have spent weeks, months, or even a whole year and several paychecks on, let alone the judgmental stares that come from a conservative city.
Something like that, but with a place to come dress up as pretty much anything (within reasonable standards that doesn't break any laws.)
Like a Cosplay center for people to practice and build costumes with help and advice.
Perhaps win a few prizes and such, like a trip to Akihabara, or other Comic-cons.

Actually half joked with a friend one day, into making a magazine about cosplay.
He is a cousin of one famous one (won't say name here), do interviews and ***lol.

Just need to get a real camera for proper photography, and maybe a portable green screen

There was a pretty stacked Yoroichi cosplayer this year, but I wasn't able to get a photo of her.

Volunteered to work 5 am to 7 pm, but said no to the weekend. My boss is pretty awesome, it was hard to say no... BUT I DID IT, DAMNIT!
