I use a few windower features, but I had yet to start using gearswap. Mostly due to I don't have good enough gear to make it worth my time to learn how to set it up and keep it updated. I still do most of my stuff solo, and have never played consistently enough to keep up with the elites in somewhat in gear.

I'll probably do it for whm though, as I'll be damned, I'll have my Mjollnir one day.

Oh and if you still have FFXI running, unload the gearswap plugin. Then try to save.

I never use anything other than Notepad++. All the plugins make it able to do any type of editing you'll ever need.

I've yet to have someone not suggest Notepad++ to me for editing.

I think I had Eclipse suggested to me once.
