Italian cuisine. It's a dish typical of Rome.
Funny thing is with all the time I've been in NJ and all the Italian places here, I never tried them out except for some fried calamari on occasion.

Bacon sammich go! Bacon (of course), sliced banana, peanut butter, and a couple jalapenos to top it off. Delish.

Operation Bacon Sammich was a success. I won't be able to eat til at least 1am, so I had some peanut butter and jelly on toast with some coffee to last me.

It's definitely a western thing. Alone, it is nothing to write home about, but it adds incredible depth and texture when combined accordingly with other delicious goods.
I hope someday to expand my nut butter horizons and try almond or cashew butter.

Mhmm, I've noticed almonds function incredibly well as a flavor enhancer, and considering the general purpose behind peanut butter, I can imagine the results would be exceptionally delicious.
