Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

God these things i'm following online are all sorts of wrong lol... did a quest that I thought was just for something else and unlocked coil LMAO ... well I guess that's what I set out to do :p

So Expert Roulette. me (mnk), WAR, SMN and WHM. WAR goes off and pulls 13ish mobs. WHM cant' keep up obviously and we all wipe. I go "You idiot, that was too many." and he's like "well this monk just ruined this run for me. I'm gonna go re-queue for another one." and instead of leaving, he logs out. (little edit: his reasoning is that his team that does this can do it so he figured randoms could too.)

The others are like "should we kick? that was kinda dumb of him" and so on and im like "nah let him come back and stay in the party" we then go on to kill all the mobs before the first boss. he comes back sometime at the first mammet adds and is like "so you're going to keep me hostage?" or some ***like that (little does he know he can leave the duty and not get penalized if he hasn't left before). he then goes "afk" while we're like "seriously? you're gonna be this bitchy bout it?"

i should also add that while we were doing the ***mobs, he was apparently talking to his FC about how we didn't boot him from the party and keeping him hostage.

just before we get to the boss, i find his character on lodestone (lolol) and i'm like "oh you're from Couerl and you're in so-and-so free company? i wonder if there's a forum i can do a "player warning thread" on." and give him the option of either him leave the party himself, continue being a little *** while i go do a player warning thread on him, or for him to man up and geto n with the damn run. sure enough he picks the 3rd option without saying anything (died in first boss but we managed to 3 man it with titan-egi) after that it went smooth.

My neck is feeling better, but I can definitely tell my eyes are probably puffy/baggy from lack of proper sleep. But I'm pretty good otherwise.

How about yourself?

I'm alright. I haven't heard back from Tolleson yet about my letter of intent, and they called me a week ago to offer me the job. I guess I'm just getting antsy, but every day that comes by without a phone call makes me wonder if I made a mistake by turning Verrado down. I mean sure, financially it would be a dumb move, but I'd have a shitload of fun working there.

Ugh, I'd better get a call, soon.

Day 1 of training was alright. Was mostly just formalities(signing papers, getting uniforms, etc.) Tomorrow will be the big day as it involves ~8hrs of class which I'll be juggling on top of work.

They also are going to try to put me on an assignment sometime next week if they can, which means I may be essentially working two jobs the next two weeks.

Biggest things for me at the moment is I need to talk to them to see if I can still go to Texas in June, and if not I need to begin thinking on a back-up plan to see my friends as I'm not going back on my promise of seeing them this year. I also need to decide if I want to take this very basic healthcare they are offering.

this is probably the first game I played the day I bought it in possibly years.

wouldn't be as far if I weren't grinding during work... (to be fair, they leave me hanging for 10+ minutes at a time several times a day, not to mention that I can just pause most of the time).
