but really I did enjoy the game, it ended on a cliffhanger as ... usual... which kinda aggravates me, but the chapter 10 thing kinda opens it up for the next game, which should be interesting to see what they do with it. Kinda short game, but I liked the gameplay

I'm not really in a position to make fun I guess. I have about 7 or 8 games I'm bouncing between right now. I did manage to finish Link Between Worlds a few weeks ago :O
7-8 isn't too bad to be honest... lol i'm probably in the upper ... um ... I don't want to think about it lol... I'll just put it this way... I've probably in the last few months bought 7-8 games that I haven't really looked at, or played for a little bit and never touched again :p
Well, on these papers I'm grading now, they've all done horribly.
But it's a pretest, so it was designed to fail them. Now my job is to teach them on everything they got wrong.
Was this a pop quiz?
How are you feeling when you know people aren't reading their material?
One thing that's got to be hard for you is trying to get students to understand your passion that you are trying to teach something and can only do so much for them and that it's their part to study.
It was more of a pretest, although I didn't prepare them for it, so I guess it was kind of like a pop quiz. It was a similar format, at least. As far as the whole not reading thing, I'm having them read the play entirely in class, so that's not a problem. Now, having to get them to do the close reading homework is another story entirely.
I don't expect a bunch of kids to give a crap about a white, dead dude, but if I could get one to be as impassioned as I am about the literature, then I've done my job.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
