So one of my coworkers is in the hospital for probably about the next month or so. He had an infection in a tooth which caused massive swelling in the throat/neck and now he's on his back with a tracheotomy. Oops.
Another is flat on his back at home with his wife, seven-year old son, not-yet-one-year-old daughter, and him all down with H1N1 flu strain.
So we're a wee bit shorthanded, right. Then we got a new order in for crosswalk buttons! Boo-yah! Our largest order to date had been one thousand buttons in one go. This order is in multiple parts, and we've so far only received part one -- for four thousand buttons! Oh hot jam!
So my remaining coworkers, you know, the ones who aren't out feeling like death warmed over, are all a-panic! CCL is running amok panicking about every little thing. And I'm all "Just think of it as several small orders, k. Only they are all going to the same place this time." And she's all "EEP GAH HALP NUTS!"
Anyways, long story short, this is why I have Hakuna Matata stuck in my head.
