If just for this pic and this text I prefer #1,
It fits nicely on my screen without the need to scroll back up to start reading the right text. The confusion on the first line is low but there due to texts being seperated only by little space and no fixed table structure which one is used to from newspapers, might help if a different font is used for the right text to avoid that completly.
If you want to use the layout generally I prefer #2,
as it is has a clear structure and will cause less problems for different devices and screens.

I tried to find a gif if Rukia using a spell, but gave up after a few mins.
Yeah, it looks much better on PC.

I think it looks better. I thought I had a distaste for the SCH AF2 set, turns out it just looks bad on Lalafell.
