Hmmm I remember a year or so ago, when the Park Service implemented its plan on White Tail control in DC's Rock Creek park, via Spotlighting, I remembered they asked for volunteers from the public. Reading on website says "trained sharpshooters from the Agrigcultural dept." hmmmmmmmmmm

Well, dehydrating meat for jerky takes alot of natural flavor out of it....unless it's duck which is just harsh. lol

(In Oklahoma, you can buy a farm raised Buffalo for slaughter, or buy meat from Woolaroc Park, but you can't hunt them.)

Buffalo is wonderfully delicious, haven't had it in a couple years though. Moose was my favorite meat until I started messin' around with venison, though it's been a bit since I've had moose so it could still possibly win.

I had some buffalo when I was in South Dakota last month. Or earlier this month. Yes earlier this month. And it was good. But I was also staying on a beef farm and was given home grown angus beef...ZOMG... /mouth waters...
