Desert in the summer, snowy in the winter. What gives.) My supplement shipped from Idaho :o Fenrir.Ropeteer

I always go with physical copies, but I always feel like I need a tangible version of everything. I still use CDs.

Schizm Gallantry said: » Besides all the Topps and Fleer cards, all of them are original. The Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, E.T. and even Batman cards. There's tons of baseball and football cards also. Such a long time ago, it's one of those things I thought I lost or totally forgot about. Now time to dig deeper into another box in the room... Witness the whole video game generation from Atari 2600 and being awed by games like Pitfall and Comic Arc and seeing games like Mario Brothers and Donkey Kong JR. brand new. I am happy to say I lived in a time of the 80's to see the evolution and dying days of the arcade, to working with Midway 8080 to Jamma boards and the 'd-pad controller'. Seriously, before even Sega Master System (with 9 pin) and Nintendo NES 8-BIT, everyone said the 'd-pad' was a horrible idea and would never be accepted. For my Atari 2600 clone and C64, I had to use a sega master d-pad cause it had the 9-pin and remember thinking this was too much versus the 'joystick'. Of course, out of rage, you usually broke the plastic ring on the Atari Joysticks or pulled off the rubber covering. Some people think of old stuff like that as being 'retro', I remember them as childhood memories... You know what, coffee first and decide later. Wow Schizm, that stuff is really cool! I thought you were a youngling too. But 38 isn't old, you know! I thought schiz was around my age for some reason. Then again im told im a terrible judge of that stuff before i see someone or am told their age,or something

Knowing when you are old.. -Pizza Hut was a family sit down restaurant. -Before McDonalds had chicken Mcnuggets, and when they did come out, you only had three sauces. -The big argument between what was better, Transformers or Go-Bots. -Being a kid and had fireworks and BB guns and no one thought twice. -You had to put a token or quarted on the bottom of the bezel (marquee) to mark you were next to play. and clicking the turbo button on your computer to get that 486 x 66mhz boost. My parents were court-ordered to take my siblings and me to a psychiatrist every week for awhile, and we hated going of course, so they'd get us to go by promising us pizza afterwards. We always got to split an extra ham, extra cheese, and pepperoni pizza in exchange for a half-hour of counseling. 'Twas glorious. I used to love going to eat at Pizza Hut with my mom. Then I worked there. Now the smell of it nauseates me.
Funny story about Pizza Hut from well before my time.
When one opened close to us (I currently live in my grandparent's home), my dad was still living here with them, and for dinner one night they decided to try something new, Pizza. They had never tried it before, and my grandma being funny as she was didn't think things through. 6 people in the house, each got their own large pizza. |
