I found a long maintenance on ffxiv. Rage to follow.

So here i was
kicking back, relaxing. Suddenly i remember i have things to do before maintenance!
So i head to north shroud, start filling in the map looking for ixal to finish up a hunting log.
Then i see this guy!
who subsequently owns my face and every level 50 nearby with 1 move
Seriously tho, I sat back and watched as level 50 Paladins where getting 2-3 shotted. Saw some people taking over 9k damage in a single hit. Was hilarious watching people get beat like that.

needless to say, the fate was a failure. Think there was like 15 level 50 and they might have scratched his armor. seriously i dont think it dropped below 98%

Maybe that is his spawn spot? If you look at the opening movie and then look at the screen shots, you notice the area looks exactly the same.

I didn't think of that spath. It could be a form of reproduction technically just making a copy of yourself before dying, knowing he'll do the same. It's not like he won't be brave enough to do the same thing since he was made for it. Only the original one would have that depth I guess

so what happens if he gets killed? just exp, gil, and notes? Does he drop treasure? never seen a fate drop anything
He drops Odin's Mantle. Silver gives you 1, Gold gives you 5. You trade 5 for an item, either his helmet, body or barding.
