It's still other people causing it because of SE's underestimation (for lack of a better word) so regardless of who is to blame,it still means I cant get on and leaves me back at the same initial problem.

I don't think it's so much cluttered as it is the resolution is low, so it cramps up the screen pretty badly. If there was more background to see, then it wouldn't seem so bad.
Though I would remove the quest log during a big fight.
