You guys....I don't think I should tank anymore. Lol..I've never even tanked in ff11..I don't know how to use marauder in ff14.

Little taru taught me how and nobody died in satasha but I dunno if tanking is for me.

I can picture Daus finally working up the courage to tank some badass boss fight that she's never seen before. Then it is spawned and next thing everyone knows; Daus has disappeared. All that is left is the dust trail and the faint image of her 100 yards away yelling "NOPE!".

You know... I started as THM... had trouble and since my friend was doing GLA I switched to it ... and leveled it ... then came the dungeons... was unsure about them so much lol... found out i'm quite ... good at tanking xD as long as you have people that listen and don't derp around.

I got through the three dungeons plus hala (like 3 times) with no issue whatsoever)

Uri has these carpeted stairs and til now I've only slightly slipped. Already caught myself slipping like 10 times and finally just cleared the last 4-5 on my *** today...

These stairs are plotting against me

I'm not scared of them I just couldn't figure out how to get hate...and like...button mashing...


Somebody goes "save your stuns for spells" and I was llike "I have stun!?"

How do you slip on carpeted ones? Unless you mean like hanging your foot or something.

I am stumped, beaten and discouraged.

I can't get past a lv17 mission fight on limsa lomisa story... (Feint and Strike)

Not that I should be bothered by the fact that they're wiping all next Monday, but I am feeling like I am doing something wrong at this fight. So I am trying to get past it anyway...

The only thing I could think I might be missing was meds (potions maybe as I'm a marauder) I am at lv22 atm and done everything without using a single potion or any other kind of med.

Any ideas ?

Flash for hate control (I usually use shield lob for the initial pull, then when I get the group of mobs around me flash them)

Shield Bash is a stun (I used it somewhat on bosses, but I never got TOLD to use it xD, never saw the use)

carpeted are the worse. its because its slicker over the edges than it is hardwood. wearing socks is killer

If you want to make a macro for Stoneskin to cast on your whole party (say.. right before a boss fight) then type /ac Stoneskin <1> /ac Stoneskin <2> etc with a /wait 3 between each line and you'll be able to press 1 button without having to target anyone

Hmm.. I never noticed the carpeted stairs at work being slicky on the edges. I always stumble and end up missing a few steps though because my toe hangs or something.

Maybe I'm semi-lucky. /shrug

This. I hit the edge and my feet just slipped. Landed flat on my butt and slid down the last steps. Ouch. -.o

I like the wood steps sooo much better. I've never fallen down those lmao

Anyway, did some more Battle Operation. Getting better at using my Zaku II; finding it hard to keep up with faster suits, though...
Also, had a team just now that didn't do anything at all the entire match...

I can't stand horseradish. That's why instead of cocktail sauce, I'll usually go with what's called "Chili Sauce", which is basically cocktail sauce without the horseradish.

Pro to living alone, I wouldn't be able to play this as loud as I am now :D

I believe the wasabi plant itself is a type of horseradish, but you're right on. Our wasabi is just food colored horseradish.

Got my quarterly evaluation today, high praise all around.

My chefs are aware of (and participate in) the dislike for the new chef, and could tell I was being frustrated as well. I informed them a lot of people were considering quitting. He looked rather concerned, as he should be. If the number of people I mentioned quit, the buffet would be forced to close down for however long it takes to restaff.

He basically asked me to hold out and wait for the new chef to adjust and realize he's pissing people off and hope things improve. He likes the work I've been doing and doesn't want to see me quit too.

Couldn't make a promise either way, my resentment at the company grows daily over the ***they pulled that caused my family to lose our house. Top it off with this ridiculous ***they've been doing with my schedule and this new asshat and I'm pretty sick of the place.

Due to someone quitting already, someone transferring and maybe someone definitely quitting, due to the new chef bitching her out to the point she started crying... I'm probably not going to be able to get any vacation time in soon at all. Or a second day off per week.
