Tbh,I rarely pay retail,or even full price for pc games. Physical special editions being the exception because Quiz is crazy. Even brand new games that I'm not sure of or only buy on a whim I get cheap usually. Pre-purchased metro last light for 23 euro the day before release. Pretty much everything in my steam catalogue was bought either on sale or through other cheaper means.

The sale will kick my *** most likely. I feel obligated to buy alot of ***simply because its 2.50 or 4.99 or something lol,even if I dont want the game. I bought the new Hitman game about a month ago. No interest in the game at all,but it was 8.99 >_>;; Same with the batman collection. 7.50 for both games on pc. Have them all done on xbox,probably will never play them on pc.....WHO CARES! /buy

I never understood the lack of willpower about steam sales.
Everyone has become digital hoarders now, buying games they usually wont get around to playing or buy it just because its cheap >.>

Also itching to buy the FFX/X-2 HD CE, but not 100% sure about it.

It's simply because it's cheap. For example,on the xbox sale last week,I bought Perfect Dark Zero for 3 euro. I own a physical collector's edition of the game from xbox launch (bastarding thing cost me 75 euro back then!) but it was worth the 3 euro to be able to play without the disc lol. As far as steam goes,the value of stuff is just so good,that if it doesnt fit into the "I'll DEFINITELY never play this because I hate the look/idea/previous games" it's generally worth the cheap amount to have it there for a rainy day....

I think I paid for.....4 of them new at retail.

Half Life 2,HL2 ep1,HL2 ep2,Bioshock Infinite.

About 2 or 3 more were purchased on steam at normal steam prices,but they were all games that were released at 9.99,12.99,etc nothing full 40+ or anything.

And everything else was bought cheap online or on steam sales

I dont think it works that way? I know games have achievements like the xbox/ps3 but I dont think anything counts for actually buying games (I dont use the community side of it,so I'm not 100%)

Theres a badge you get + xp if you have over 50 games owned. I rest my case.

Woo just got grades finalized for summer class, got a 102%. On top of that the student service center got their heads out of their butts and my financial aid package for summer has been processed so I can get my refund finally.
