idk how long it would take, I was just making fun of the fact that it took about 12 hours for me to download the Beta >_>

what time EST does the beta start? (I'll google it if anything lol... just curious if anyone knew off the top of their head~)

I know we can import our characters, but I kinda still want to make a new one just to see all the new customization things.

as far as I saw, it's 1.0 characters that will transfer over (and maybe open beta characters, but I can't remember :/)

Yep, 1.0 characters are being transferred into 2.0 during the current beta test. That's what the upcoming test weekends are for; making sure that stuff works properly. ^^
Only beta phase 4 characters will be kept, though, assuming there are no major problems. End of phase 3 will wipe everything / reset 1.0 characters to their pre-beta state.

The server they were on in 1.0 is the server it will be on in this phase... I think

So like leveling the character and stuff will be reset back to what they were upon phase 4?
