Was thinking something from XI, but Allied Forces of Altana is a bit of a mouthful, so went to XIV instead. And then we could have the Klingon fleet be called the Garlean Empire! Assuming they're not already taken, of course.

You should be spending skill points as soon as you can, anyway. Just don't put them into Driver Coil. Just don't.

Dunno. Probably stuff that helps with your sciency stuff and stuff that'll help you stay alive/kill stuff. Just read the descriptions and use the wiki if you need to know what stuff does; I don't know anything about science characters.

Turns out the kitty I adopted from my stupid, irresponsible, and neglectful former room mate was pregnant when I sent her in to get spayed and vaccinated. So now it costs more AND I feel terrible about it to boot. /sigh

Leon, how many of those neat console doodads can you have on a ship? Can yu have two very rare ones? I get that it says a ship can only have one of certain ones, but does that mean the ship is locked to just ONE special thing or can it do TWO special things?
