An HD release of IX would be nice with better cinematics because those really suffer on new TVs :|

I know what the characters look like, Kuja looks like Marcellius Wallace and Beatrix has epic ***.
Remaking old games entirely from the ground up usually does lose alot of the nostalgia factor.
HD remasters of 6th generation games are fine because they dont have to do too much and dont need to *** with too much in the process of making it look decent. (certain exceptions apply) Anything from 5th gen or before that gets a full on remake,is dangerous and usually not the same.

I would like to see a FFIX remaster, not so much a remake. BUT, I would like to see some additions, for one thing, I'd like to see Beatrix, Blank, Cinna, and Marcus added on as optional characters after Necron is defeated in a freeplay mode type thing. I'd also like to see Steiner have Sword Magic without Vivi, perhaps change the "Master Vivi, I have an idea." to "Master Vivi, please teach me some magic spells.
Lastly, I's also like to see more of Mikoto, and closure regarding Kuja.
