It isn't put on till concrete starts to set up, but to answer your question; after a point, yes, though you will leave foot prints, a power trowel is ran backwards in a rainbow-side-to-side zigzag, covering up the operator's tracks.
EDIT: And Bull float = EVERY pour.

But we hired some guys to redo some cement in our garage recently and holy ***, so much work and preparing goes into it. Really impressive just how much planning and perfecting. You'd think they were architecting a building of some ***lol
I hate shooting grades, and taking measurements, I work in the family business, and while I remember numbers accurately, if I make it a point to, my brother and father have to re-shoot/re-measure things 1-2 times, just to find the number I just told them. Better safe than sorry, though.

EDIT: In case anyone is wondering, the girl is Wendy Harris, and the dog is Wonderdog, they were replaced by Zan and Jayna (The Wonder Twins) and their monkey, Gleek, in the next series. The Wonder Twins were basically younger superheroes in-training, while Marvin and Wendy were more of "everyman" characters, ordinary, human characters the viewer can relate to. Think Allen Ridgely of Xenosaga.
