Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
I'd consider dating a 20-year-old if I felt they were emotionally mature and stable. I'm 26, but that's about as low as I'd go.
I have very high standards after my most recent fiasco. The older I get, the more I realize age is a lesser factor.

Really unlikely though and I prefer dating older women, life is simplier lol Seems quite common here if you meet anyone studying science-y stuff (all the girls I've posted did >.> Can't say they weren't attractive either!) Really unlikely though and I prefer dating older women, life is simplier lol Maturity isn't solely based off the number of years you've been breathing. It's about experiences, values/morals, and characteristics within your personality. To be honest, I think women mature better.
Looking at my past, I knew girls who were quite mature at 18-20. I was just an immature dumbass. I mean, we never truly grow up but we learn how to pretend and stuff better around females as we get older. While I agree with this to an extent, I must point out I'm not even out of my 20's yet and I look back at when I was 19~21 and can't help but think "Man, I was *** HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE." Even as few as five years grows more maturity than you can realize. Age is more than just a number, with it comes more experience, a better view on your values and morals, and grows your personality. Asura.Josiahfk said: » "the odds someone that young has the capacity to handle a serious healthy relationship is a million to one" was offensive? So you think more people that young can handle serious and healthy relationships? or what do you mean? Like I said it's possible someone 18 totally is, but damn it is rare lol And I believe that people ages 18-22 have the capacity more often than a million to one, yes. Understandably, it was an exaggeration, but it was an offensive one at that. While we're on the subject... If a 22 year old girl keeps throwing into conversations that she's into older men, is she flirting with me?
I disagree Urial. Women are just as immature as men. It just shows up in different areas.

It depends on the person. I was dealing with a girl a while back... Four years older than me, and she was one of the most immature women I've ever met. You should know repetition of a word is either because of poor writing or to imply a meaning. Cerberus.Tikal said: » I disagree Urial. Women are just as immature as men. It just shows up in different areas. Throwing numbers or anything into a conversation about maturity in a generalization is irrelevant. Maturity is a case by case thing given peoples experiences and how they grew or didn't grow because of them. That's why I crack jokes about discussing maturity in a general sense. Alexander.Drokin said: » Not enough context. Speaking generally finding a mature person is damn hard these days, regardless of age.
Bismarck.Magnuss said: » Alexander.Drokin said: » Not enough context. Yep, 28. Your memory is awesome, sir. I think she's super cute and brilliant and I would really enjoy going out with her. The problem is, I'm super hawkward (yes, that was on purpose) and if I show a girl I'm interested in her, things always end hawkwardly. So I'm afraid to ask, because that will end horribly. Plus, I really don't want to get involved with someone until I can afford it and live in a place not so... embarrassing.
Asura.Josiahfk said: » I don't think it was offensive and I don't think more than 1 in a million people that age can handle a serious relationship healthily. But it's not like we're forced to agree on this or anything and sorry if I've offended anyone here. More growth can happen from 18-25 than from 1-18, emotionally mentally and psychologically. Maybe a guy's body doesn't change at all 18+ sure but still, it's pretty huge how much we grown in that stage on the inside You also have to realize, younger generations go through different experiences, we grow up with different social interactions, varying technology at our disposal, and global events that others had the luxury of dealing with at an older ages. She's a shy, short girl with a great smile, a Secondary Ed English major and is really into Heavy Metal. Anyway, at the end of our final, a few people and I were going off to lunch together. She was walking with us and asked why we were all going the same way and I told her that we were going to have lunch, and she said she was on board. We spent the whole time talking to each other and occasionally with the other people there, but most of our conversations were one on one. And in conversation, she mentioned that a couple times. Urial is spot on.
