I've only done the Bee Naakual so far and haven't had much motivation to farm more bayld to do another XD Re leveling blu treating you well?
Neither is releveling BLU. I mean, I leveled it already a while back for sub. Paid some dude to leech, got it to 75. Skilled up with Bludgeon while learning Refueling to 200+ then proceeded on my merry way from there. So far it's very painful this time around. The first time I leveled it was just after the Abyssea era had come out. I had it over 40 already with all the spell up to that point, and I didn't want to just leech it that time. I took it very ceremoniously. I leveled it by keying when we ambered in Tahrongi for my friend's Verethragna and my Ukon. Each time would get me about 3~8 levels, and I would use AOE magic to skill it up uber easily after his first Aeolian(he cleaved on Rdm). I had no problem with spells up till the 60s range, did all my AF, and then my brother offered to help me learn all the awkward/hard stage spells to learn(all the TOAU ones). So we went, me BLU/whm and him on his 85 THF or whatever the level cap was by that point(probably 90). I learned every spell that he helped me with, literally every TOAU range spell, in 3 or less monster uses of the spell. We hit one low point with Lamiae because I didn't realize about the different TOAU beastmen rules etc. Spent like 3 hours trying to get Hysteric Barrage from Merrows. That was it though. Then I took BLU to 70, fought and killed Raubahn with extreme ease at 70, and then I soloed the rest of my spells with no trouble.
This time around I already have the levels, the sword merits, the blue magic merits etc, but since I don't have hardly any spells I'm having a rough go. I had an easy time with Magic Fruit and Self-Destruct, Magic fruit took 2 monster uses, Self-Destruct took 6(that I lived through). My Elvaan seems to be a HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE BLU though. Currently 0/5 on Disseverment, 0/18 on Radiant Breath, and 0/20 on Bad Breath. I don't even have enough spells to fill my Blue Magic Points up yet. Lol.
