With UMDs and Pro-Duo Memory Sticks, no. With PSN purchases, yes.

Dont forget there are download limits too. Like if you format your vita or w/e it counts as an extra download. I downloaded Persona 1 recently and it is leased for 2 home console downloads and 2 portable unit downloads. I should download it on my ps3 just because I can,but I currently have it on my vita and psp downloaded
What a load of horseshit that is. I understand they don't want people abusing bandwidth, but what the actual ***? Do they not consider that people play across multiple platforms and go through the processes of formatting? Or what if you wanted to play your game at a friend's house? It should still be downloadable and playable through your credentials regardless of whose console it is on.
