Why is it a slap in the face to the old fans? Its a *** expansion pack,it's designed to add considerably more content than a basic DLC add on. Wait no you're right,how dare they release considerable new content for a game! Expansion packs have been around alot longer than the common DLC model. Try being greatful that they spend the time to give you a full on expansion pack. You expect it for free?
Does anyone else see the flaw in his arguement here or is it just me?
it comes with the full original game+add ons + the expansion

I agree with ya, they SHOULD make a cheaper alternative for the people who only require the new content.

I'm surprised you're even making that argument... You're the one always bitching about dlc and well games sucking in general that weren't made before about 10 years ago lol...
Are they not going to put it on PSN or XBL to download separate? That's kinda messed up now that I think about it.. :/

Must be a regional thing,proper sized expansion packs come out around that price here. Morrowind,Oblivion,FF expansions,Medal of Honor,Sims.
The way I was looking at it is "its the price of a normal expansion ANYWAYS + free original game"

I never said free. Not once. I said $40 for an expansion pack is steep, when fans already paid $60 at release. An expansion pack cheaper than expansion packs for MMO's which are vastly larger in content size.
That's all I've been saying. I never accused Capcom of being a shitty company (even if Resident Evil has been mostly ruined ;_;) or that it's a stupid thing to do.

They're forcing people who already own it to pay that price.. if it didn't have the original game I doubt it would be for that much. Just because it comes with the original game doesn't make it a deal if you already own it.
I think maybe the best thing they are doing though is that people who had the original game will get unlimited ferrystones.
